Using Postie

When you post by mail, you should make less use of your e-mail editor.   Don’t embed links and Postie will wrap them for you.   postieplugin.com/usage/

It’s a good idea to switch your e-mail editor to text mode, then you won’t be tempted to glamourize your content.

When you come to review the Post within the WordPress editor, you should be in the new Gutenberg editor, which is called the Block editor, you will find that Postie has made your Post a Classic Edit block. You can change this easily, just click where it says Classic Edit, you can click there and there is a convert to Block feature.
