This event is for you, if you like modern plays which reflect on historical events, and then attempt to reflect back on topics active within our current reality – in this case the incredible and profound effects of fast and furious production of news. The historical events in this case took place in Portugal and created a real scandal, all parts of which took place on television screens, and had profound effects on the local Portuguese community .

Jorge Andrade is the artistic director of the theater group, responsible for the company’s stage designs. Jorge Andrade created “mala voadora” in 2002 with José Capela. The company’s work focuses on contemporary social themes, the nature of theatricality and ‘spectacularity’ itself. What that means exactly this theater piece may reveal.
This is his attempt to reveal how conspiracies evolve and how we so easily become involved in them.
