Killer Wink

This is very popular at dinner parties. The rules have made it to the wide world.

Things you need: some way of secretly choosing one person from your group. A pack of cards is good. If you have 6 people take 5 cards that aren’t Jacks and put one Jack in there. Whoever draws the Jack is The Killer.

Then you go about your business, passing the baklava around, pouring drinks, rolling big phat cigaretttes and The Killer makes eye contact with someone and winks.

If someone is winked at, they have to count to 5 and feign a dramatic death. If someone thinks they know who is winking and killing, they say “J’accuse …” and name the suspect, who then has to turn their playing card over. If you falsely accuse someone you might be killed off as well.

That’s all there is to it! I’ve seen people terrified by this game. If you don’t have a pack of cards, you can use long matches and a short match, or cigarette papers (one is torn).
